Overnight Camping & Hikes

At the Ranch at Fossil Creek, we offer guests a special opportunity to camp overnight, before participating in one of our unique, half-day mountain hikes with the llamas through Arizona's pristine forests. (For more information about the half-day hike with llamas, click here.)

Our overnight guests will sleep in a custom-made yurt, which often is the first yurt many of our guests have ever seen. You sleep on futons, off the ground, but you''ll need your own sleeping bag and any camping equipment you want to have. It's not as rugged or uncomfortable as camping, and the yurts have spectacular views. The ranch is at about 7,000 feet altitude, so evenings are cool. No meals are provided.

Overnight camping in the yurt is $85 (sleeps 5persons). Reservations are required.

Note: The camping fee is in addition to the fee for the hike.
